The following information is collected from all local disk volumes residing on endpoints within your organization:

  • Total number of files
  • Total size of the files

These files are categorized, according to file extension, to the following common file categories:

  • Microsoft Outlook Files
  • Microsoft Office Files
  • Multimedia Files
  • Image Files
  • System Files
  • Web Content Files
  • Compressed Files
  • Disk Image Files
  • Virtual Image Files
  • Temporary Files
  • Other Office Files

Note that the Data Risk Assessment App will not access or collect data within files on endpoints, nor will it store information such as filenames and their location.

The information collected is only required to calculate and assess the amount, and type, of data residing on your endpoints with the intention of exposing any potential risk to you in the event of data loss.

Cibecs will protect your information at all costs and does not allow the use of your personal details in any third party activity. Your contact information will only be used by Cibecs to promote, advertise, communicate and alert you of new activity and other news that could be of interest to you.
