2014 Data Loss Survey
Cibecs, industry leaders in endpoint data protection, are releasing the 2014 Data Loss Survey – uncovering the developments and challenges around business data management and endpoint data protection.
Every year Cibecs hosts the Data Loss Survey, and asks executives to complete the short questions in return for receiving early release of the comprehensive results Whitepaper. The Whitepaper analyses the current state of business data protection and looks at the benchmark practices around how business IT protects and manages endpoint data. As an added incentive, participants stand the chance to win a $200 Amazon Gift Voucher.
Data Management & Endpoint Protection
The Data Loss Survey aims to uncover a multitude of significant areas such as: How organisations are addressing the topic of protecting endpoint data; The adoption of virtualisation for end users; The impact that BYOD had on creation and consumption of data and the associated data loss risks; How companies cope with migrating operating systems and hardware; as well as the potential movement of end user data within large organisations towards the Cloud.
“We believe every enterprise should be aware of the value of their data and the evolving circumstances every business faces when it comes to data protection and management.” Says Ilze Dewing, Finance and Business Development Director at Cibecs.
“This survey and its outcomes is intended to provide the IT industry with an informed benchmark of what every business should take into account regarding the significance of their business data and how they choose to protect it.”
Cibecs will again be partnering with IDG Connect in running the Data Loss Survey and publishing the results.
“We understand the value of the Cibecs Data Loss Survey results and we believe it is something the industry can certainly benefit from. We partnered with Cibecs to share the 2012 Data Loss Survey results and we are proud to be associated with the survey again this year.” states Rebecca Hamilton, Global Account Director at IDG-Connect.
“We believe it will be an important advantage to communicate this information as a vital insight into the current climate within the IT industry with regard to end user data and endpoint protection.” confirms Rebecca.
